Wow. The only thing that can explain how I am sitting here, writing this, after all that has happened, is that Shannon is still with me. She MUST be. Well she and God, of course. Because I feel surrounded by SO MUCH love and am being lifted by so many prayers… I know that we can make it. We must… for the boys and for her memory.
My family and I want to thank you for EVERYTHING. It is the little things that add up to be the biggest most important things — my mantra “do small things with great love” (thank you Mother Teresa) is being taken to heart around here. From meal train sign ups, to texts, to phone calls, to purchases of tee shirts, to Facebook posts, to a gift card waiting at the Woodhouse Day Spa, to Colts care packages (and a host of other teams), to websites being setup, to babysitting offers, to school supply/dress code shopping, to pitch ins for helmets, to donations (!!!), to masses being said, prayers in our honor, to Diet Coke runs and SO much more. We are eternally grateful for everything and will NEVER forget. From the bottom of our hearts… mom, dad, Janet and I THANK YOU!
I wanted to give a brief update since so many things seem to be happening at such a fast pace. People keep asking: what can I do to help? HOW can I help? Dad even had an offer for a foot rub. I have actually typed “LOL” in my phone which I said I’d never do. People are SO wonderful! So anyhow… please tune in at 11pm to see our family on NewsPoint at 11 with Nicole Pence! ALSO!!!!!!

Again. THANK YOU. Shannon and I always joke when we leave a movie that we totally should have been in that movie. I mean, obviously! Or when we jam out to an awesome song, we imagine we are on screen, for all to see (and adore). Well, right now. I feel like I am in a movie about a girl who lost her sister but won’t stop until she makes sure that 2 special little boys feel more loved than ever before! Thanks for giving me that chance. And for loving Shannon. She is smiling in Heaven… and sending us signs. Small signs. But we’ll take them!
